Since an Early age Oli has always had a fascination with the workings of theatre and all things tech, a Graduate of the Central School of Speech and Drama, he has worked in a variety of roles across the Theatre, Events & Arts Industry, primarily Focusing On roles In Carpentry, Metalwork, Rigging, Automation. Taking Theses skills, Oli Began to Focus on Draughting, After leaving the hamstead theatre in 2012, he started as a full-time Draughtsman at the National Theatre, Intially on a short term contract, which later turned in to a full time role. It was here he Developed his Key 2D & 3D CAD/cAM Software Skills, and his fasination in the CAD process
After Leaving the NT, Oli Continued to focus on Draughting at Illusion Design & Construct, It Was Here That He Saw The Major Challenges Faced By Commercial Operations Compared With those of Arts Funded Theatres & Institutions.
It was the Challenges & experiences over the past decade, which have led to Oli Founding OCTheatrical. The aim of which has been to be an impartial Bridge Between Creative And Commercial Aspirations, looking at the itterative design process through CAD before prodiction, Allowing All Sides To Effectively Deliver Projects.
